ΓΕΝΙΚΟΙ ΟΡΟΙ ΣΥΜΜΕΤΟΧΗΣ
Hotel categories are rated by the local competent authorities and are based on international standards. In the event of non-availability of a booked hotel, a substitute or similar category hotel may be used, following client’s consent.
Ship and Cruise Companies maintain the right to change the cruise itineraries and rates, provided that the client has been informed prior to the performance of the trip. Ships are also to be changed or substituted by any cruise company, if it is necessary, without prior notice to the client.
Mainland Tours/Excursions (in group or private) include air-conditioned motor coaches and are guided by licensed and professional English speaking tour guides. On specific non-private tours, the guided tour will be effected in two languages.
All posted rates are subject to change, which may be attributed to increases imposed to hotels / tours / cruise operators, currency fluctuation and/or fuel surcharges.
Sequence of events and places to be visited may be changed due to unforeseen circumstances beyond the control of Atlantides Travel.
According to the policy of Atlantides Travel, a 50% deposit of the purchase price is required to secure the reservation. Furthermore, the balance of the purchase price has to be settled at the latest 30 days prior to arrival. For trips booked within 30 days prior to arrival, full payment of the booking is required in order the reservation to be secured. In case the cost of the provided services is less than EUR 400, full payment is required in order the reservation to be secured.
For reservations, which include hotels requiring full prepayment at the time of booking, a different policy applies. Atlantides Travel will inform the client accordingly for the payment and the cancellation policy of each reservation.
International Airfares (unless indicated), passport and visa fees, laundry services, phone calls, beverages, meals which are not indicated in the itinerary, all gratuities of any kind (which are in your discretion), personal items of the client, excess baggage and baggage handling, optional tours and shore excursions are not included in the purchase price of any booking.
Once deposit has been received, a charge of 40€ will be imposed on any change / revision thereafter. The amount of the air tickets is non-refundable. The cancellation policy, referred below, will apply to all other provided services unless something different has been agreed between Atlantides Travel and the client.
All cancellation requests must be in writing, and are effected (24) hours after the date they reach our office. In the event that a booking cancellation is requested upon the settlement of the deposit, the cancellation fees will be charged according to the following schedule time of booking: a) 45 days prior to arrival, 15% of total purchase price, b) 44-22 days prior to arrival, 25% of the total purchase price will be charged, c) 21 days prior to arrival, 50% of the total purchase price will be charged, d) 14 – 8 days prior to arrival, 75% of total purchase price will be charged and e) 7-0 days prior to arrival 100% of total purchase price will be charged.
Any physical, or mental disability, which requires special attention or treatment, has to be known to us at the time of reservation. Atlantides Travel and/or its representatives and/or its employees reserve the right to exclude from the travel the client with the above disability, unless local tour/cruise/land operators have provided their approval for client’s participation.
Protect your travel. Insurance in cover health, cancellation charges, trip interruption, etc, is highly recommended.

On all motor coach tours, one normal sized suitcase is allowed.
Atlantides Travel will not be responsible for, merchandise value or delivery of any items i.e. artifacts, jewels, carpets, pottery, art items etc. which are purchased upon recommendation of tour guides or other persons, throughout your holiday journey.
No refund of any amount shall be effected for unused services or for schedule or reservation changes made without prior authorization. In case a client requires any change to services during the trip, he/she has to contact directly the local representing Agent.
The client, who desires to make a complaint due to any fact, is kindly requested to report it to the local representative at the time this fact occurred.
Responsibility
1.1. Atlantides travel, its representatives and its employees act as agents between the clients and the providers of tourist services, such as hotels, airlines, tourist companies, cruises, and transportation suppliers. In respect of the above Atlantides travel, its representatives and its employees try to ensure the quality of services provided by them on a daily basis; as agents, however, their responsibility, for the performance of the services is limited.
1.2. More specifically, Atlantides travel and/or its representatives and/or its employees do not bear any responsibility whatsoever for any losses, damages, expenses, etc. incurred and any delays caused due to weather conditions, strikes, accidents, defects in any vehicles used for transportation, fault or default of any local tourist operator, hotel, cruise, transportation companies and any other related travel company, including but not limited to their employees, representatives and directors, in connection with any bookings effected through Atlantides travel.
1.3. Atlantides travel and/or its representatives and/or its employees are also not responsible for any problem which may arise to any client due to consular, political, military, visa reasons or any other reason attributed to the client.
1.4. By booking any tour, hotel, cruise, transportation, vehicle, package, flight and/or any related service, the client acknowledges that Atlantides travel shall not be liable for any consequential damages and that the liability of Atlantides travel shall never exceed the amount paid by the client.
2. Any disputes or claims arising out of or in connection with the booking and the utilization of the provided services shall firstly be negotiated among the related parties. In case such disputes and claims cannot be resolved amicably by the parties, they shall be referred to the jurisdiction of the Courts of Piraeus, Greece.
3. Atlantides Travel reserves the right to refuse the participation of any person in a tour or in any other service for a reason which justifies any refusal. Atlantides Travel reserves also the right to change or cancel the tours for any reason whatsoever provided that the above change or cancellation has been notified to the client one (1) month before the date of the travel’s performance. In case, however, that Atlantides Travel changes or cancels the tours due to force majeure or due to any reason beyond the control of Atlantides Travel, no notice shall be provided to the client by Atlantides Travel.
4. Any amount paid to Atlantides travel in connection with the provided services shall be considered as acceptance of the above stated conditions by the client.
5. We note that rates for hotels, tours and transfers in Cuba are not valid for holders of USA passports.
