1st Stop

Hydra

Depart from Athens early in the morning. Our first island destination is Hydra where we will stay approximately two hours. On arrival you will marvel at the amazing architecture of the harbor town and have plenty of time to discover the many charms of the island on one of our tours. A leisurely stroll through the narrow streets is a must. The cosmopolitan Hydra, with its paved streets, its fortresses and the donkeys – the traditional means of transport – is one of the most important centers of culture.

2nd Stop

Poros

Depart from Hydra and cruise to Poros, a quiet and beautifully green island, noted for its pleasant beaches and the fragrant aroma of lemon carried by a gentle wind from its many groves. The boat will be at Poros for about one hour leaving you enough time to admire the graphic setting of the island's Chora. The narrow streets, the imposing neoclassical buildings, the green hills are the pictures that have been a source of inspiration for poets and painters for more than 75 years.

3rd Stop

Aegina

Cruise to Aegina and discover the island’s brilliant cultural heritage, including an optional short boat ride to swim. You'll have about two hours to discover the island's beauties either on your own or through one of our guided tours. Early in the evening return to Athens.

Choise 1: Hydra Walking Tour

The walk begins at the Merchant Marine Academy, dating from the 18th century, and the statue of ‘Miaoulis’ representing the island’s modern history and strong presence in the War of Independence (1821). There’s the possibility for a donkey ride (the island’s traditional mode of transportation) before visiting a traditional patisserie (1930) and enjoying its famous macaroons. Other highlights include the cannons of the island, with a view to the small island where the oldest shipwreck in the world (2,200 BC) was discovered in 1975. The tour lasts about 45 minutes.

Choise 2: Aegina Panoramic Tour

Enjoy a drive across the entire island admiring the beauty of its nature. Among the memorable sights are the famous Aegina pistachio groves, as well as the island’s medieval capital of Paleochora and the Saint Nektarios Monastery. For a gastronomic delight, the final stop at a local taverna gives you a true taste of the island’s local cuisine. The tour lasts about 1 hour and 15 minutes.
